Principal Appointment

The Quesnel School District is pleased to announce that Ms. Janene Sellers has been appointed to the position of principal of Kersley Elementary effective August 1, 2023.

Ms. Sellers has been the principal at Parkland Elementary since 2021 and prior to that appointment, had been teaching in the district since 2014.

Ms. Sellers recently completed the Place and Nature-based Experiential Learning Graduate Diploma in Education program and will be enrolling in a one-year Master of Education in Educational Practice scheduled to start in September 2023.

Ms. Sellers will be replacing Ms. Nancy Danuser who has been appointed as principal of Barlow Creek Elementary School.
